Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, following each Person's ISP. We offer consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team designed for success.

The DSP role focuses on promoting independence, community engagement, and daily living skills through one-on-one support in home and community settings, with training and opportunities to grow in a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
