Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home and community support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will follow each client's ISP and work one-on-one to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours with cases across New Jersey, competitive pay of $18–$24 per hour, and local support from a dedicated team. CPR/First Aid, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
