Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Direct Store Delivery Warehouse Lead to oversee the DSD distribution center in Bayshore, NY, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate inventory control. The role involves assigning tasks, leading warehouse staff, and coordinating deliveries to customers while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of warehouse experience, familiarity with ERP systems (D365) and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience in a DSD DC or food-related environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365) is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the DSD DC.
• Assigns daily tasks to the DSD Warehouse staff.
• Assists with training new DSD warehouse team members.
• Manages inventory: receives, stores, loads, and verifies products.
• Unloads trailers and verifies trailer loads for accuracy.
• Checks loads and signs load tickets.
• Balances daily inventory using handheld devices.
• Accepts and checks returns to stock and damaged products.
• Maintains organized, clean warehouse and rotates stock.
• Covers open routes as directed by management; delivers products to customers.
• Leads month-end inventory counts and flags discrepancies to Head of DSD Ops.
