Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a stock/flooring associate to receive merchandise from suppliers and maintain accurate inventory records. You will verify invoices, monitor product levels, and safeguard company assets while keeping backroom areas organized and compliant with 5S standards.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, coordinating with vendors and department managers, and providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• DSD Receiving certification through LEARN program is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receives direct store delivery products and checks invoices for accuracy.
• Monitors inventory levels and maintains accurate records in IMS.
• Reduces shrink by processing damaged, returned, or out-of-date items correctly.
• Advises vendors and store managers on inventory and product issues.
• Maintains back room according to 5S standards and organizes stock.
• Provides friendly customer service and helps maintain a clean store environment.
