Job summary

Food Lion Dover, DE is seeking a Store Receiving Clerk to ensure proper DSD product receiving, uphold standard practices, and support a fast, friendly shopping experience.

Responsibilities include managing vendor communications, maintaining inventory accuracy with ACIS/CAO, checking invoices, and following safety and Food Safety guidelines. This role requires basic computer skills and the ability to lift and handle products. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Protect company assets through proper receipt and return of DSD product.
• Demonstrate and execute proper vendor receiving policies.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors, policy violations or excessive inventory.
• Ensure timely promotions by all vendors and implement merchandising notes.
• Verify DSD plan‑o‑grams are accurate and handle invoices and reconciliations.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and report accidents.
