Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Inventory Associate to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in our Inventory Management System. You will greet customers with a service-first attitude and support stock control, ordering, and receiving processes.

Responsibilities include daily counts, ensuring shelf accuracy, and collaborating with the store director to resolve shortages while upholding safety policies and a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year related retail experience preferred.
• Basic math and data-entry skills are needed to manage counts and records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected.
• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to processes in a fast-paced store.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving.
• Reviews and completes pending inventory transactions daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels and researches shortages.
• Maintains shelves and product levels, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
• Greets customers and provides friendly service while addressing questions.
• Participates in all assigned duties including periodic inventory counts.
