Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Store Operations Associate to ensure proper receiving of Direct Store Deliveries (DSD) and maintain standards per the manual. You will maximize sales through excellent customer service and minimize shrink through proper utilization of procedures.

You will work with vendors and the Store Manager to ensure timely promotions, accurate plan-o-grams, and proper filing of invoices. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the Food Lion dress code.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age and physical requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain safety and protect company assets through proper receiving of DSD products and accurate documentation.
• Receive and verify DSD shipments, resolve vendor errors, and ensure compliant procedures.
• Work with the Assistant Store Manager to support timely promotions and accurate plan-of-grams.
• Handle invoices, reclaim and damages, and ensure proper filing and record-keeping.
• Follow Food Lion policies, safety guidelines and local regulations while on duty.
