Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a warehouse associate to receive merchandise, check invoices, and maintain inventory accuracy. You will monitor stock levels, protect assets, and support accurate documentation while providing friendly, customer-focused service in a retail setting.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, safe operation of pallet jacks, and the ability to adapt to rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• DSD Receiving certification is required per policy.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Able to operate safely and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive direct store delivery products and verify invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Secure and monitor back doors to protect assets.
• Assist in reducing shrink and ensure proper credit for damaged or returned items.
• Support IMS inventory tasks and prepare for counts.
