Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a Merchandise Receiver to manage inbound shipments, check-in, and inventory accuracy across our store network. You will monitor stock levels and help ensure correct product flow.

The role requires HS diploma or GED and DSD Receiving certification (or ability to obtain). You’ll work with vendors, support shrink reduction, and help maintain orderly back rooms.

• Receives merchandise from vendors and ensures proper check-in and inventory
• Monitors product levels and maintains inventory records
• Check invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Protect assets by securing back doors
• Reduce shrink by ensuring credit for damaged/returned goods
• Assist in inventory counts and IMS data entry
• Prepare store for inventory service counts
• Maintain back room per 5S standards
• Greet customers and provide friendly service
