Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring a part-time DSD Receiver in Haughton, LA. You will receive merchandise from outside vendors, check-in items, monitor inventories, and ensure accurate records.

The role involves processing direct store deliveries, resolving invoice discrepancies, and helping keep the backroom organized and safe for daily operations. Qualifications include being at least 18, with a minimum 21+ to drive for the company, and having a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• 21 years or older to drive for Company business.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DSD Receiving certification required (through Company LEARN).

Responsibilities

• Receives merchandise from outside vendors and ensures proper check-in, inventory, and/or credit.
• Monitors product levels and maintains accurate inventory records.
• Receives direct store delivery products such as soda, chips, alcohol, etc., and checks invoices for accuracy.
• Protects Company assets by properly securing and monitoring back doors.
• Assist in maintaining the backroom and adhering to safety procedures.
