Job summary

Busch Gardens Tampa is seeking drummers and pianists to audition in person for exciting stage roles. Attendees must complete the online application before auditions on a designated date.

Auditions require 16 measures of a pop selection and a jazz selection, with opportunities to perform 4-6 theater shows daily and participate in rehearsals and recordings. Piano players should be comfortable singing on a live microphone if selected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to sight read music.
• Outgoing and friendly personality—versatile and able to improvise.
• Outstanding performance and showmanship.
• Flexible with work hours and conditions.
• Willingness to own and keep instrument in working condition.
• Communicate professionally with ambassadors and guests.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Position requires extensive walking/standing; may involve climbing; outdoor work in varying Florida weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform 4-6 theater shows per daily schedule including special functions, rehearsals and recordings.
• Piano players must be comfortable singing on live mic if approved for role.
• Participate in maintaining Busch Gardens cleanliness standards.
• Provide and maintain instrument in working condition and appearance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
