Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.

• Advanced understanding of SAMHSA, CAP-FUDT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Basic understanding of Laboratory Information System (LIS) and lab computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove presumptive positives and aliquot for confirmation.
• Store positive samples in refrigerator/freezer area.
• Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis.
• Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms.
• Destroy specimens as needed.
• Clean and maintain work area daily.
• Adhere to security procedures for confidentiality of donor information.
• Must comply with company policy.
