Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and CAP-FUDT guidelines.
• Experience reading and documenting chain of custody forms.

Responsibilities

• Remove presumptive positives, aliquot for confirmation, arrange aliquots in order.
• Store positive samples in refrigerator/freezer area.
• Remove positive samples from freezer for re-aliquot.
• Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis.
• Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms.
• Destroy specimens; as needed.
• Clean and maintain work area daily.
• Adhere to all security procedures for donor information confidentiality.
• Must comply with company policy.
