Job summary

Flytrex Inc. in Houston seeks a Real Estate & Development Manager to identify and launch real estate sites for drone takeoffs and landings. You will manage day-to-day real estate duties, including maintenance, utility and lease agreements, and relationships with brokers and landlords.

The role requires expertise in land use planning, zoning, permitting, and development. You will coordinate with operators, brokers, landlords, and local authorities to ensure smooth site operations and regulatory

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial brokerage, permitting, or urban planning and zoning.
Strong understanding of land use planning, zoning, and municipal permitting processes.
Familiarity with real estate documents (LOIs, purchase agreements, JV agreements, etc.).
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; strong communication.

Responsibilities

Lead search and sourcing of drone sites; ensure maintenance and leases are in place.
Coordinate drone delivery site operations in Houston and other metros as needed.
Build and manage relationships with brokers, landlords, town councils, and governments.
Handle paperwork, contracts, and zoning for each site; negotiate leases.
Engage with city planners and permitting officials to streamline approvals.
