Job summary

Flytrex Inc. in the Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a Site Infrastructure & Launch Manager to own each new drone site from approval through first delivery and into stable operations.

You sculpt the critical path for site readiness, electrical and power infrastructure, permitting, flight operations, maintenance, and partner readiness. You are the on-ground launch captain who identifies blockers, drives decision-making, and ensures go/no-go criteria are met before the first flight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, launch, deployment, infrastructure rollout, or logistics with a track record of owning complex launches and fixed go-live dates.
• 3+ years of hands-on electrical or power infrastructure field experience: commercial/industrial electrical, EV charging, solar/storage, telecom or generator work.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and ability to build load calculations, read one-lines and panel schedules; know when licensed electricians are required.
• Experience coordinating with utilities on new service and with city inspectors on permits, inspections and corrections; bid and manage electricians and vendors.
• Strong field judgment to balance high-level updates with site-level details without losing focus on readiness.
• Comfort with low-voltage networking (cellular, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet) and GPS/RTK hardware; clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Launch Ownership: manage new sites from approval through launch and stable operations; develop critical path plans for readiness, power, permits, operations, staffing, and partners.
• Lead site selection and feasibility reviews for power, access, line of sight, and permitting; guide deployment decisions.
• Oversee Electrical & Power Infrastructure: build load calculations, specify service sizes and panels, manage utility or generator setups, and coordinate inspections.
• Secure Permits, Municipalities & Regulatory Support: track approvals and support local regulatory coordination.
• Vendor, Contractors & Budget: manage contractors, equipment deliveries, site logistics, and change orders to optimize costs.
• Handoff to Operations: ensure readiness, provide initial support for power and generator troubleshooting, and hand off energized sites with proper documentation.
