Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer (Drone Stack Team) to design and deploy autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems on real platforms.

You will integrate hardware and software, perform SIL and HIL evaluations, and support live field testing with DoD and commercial customers. You will collaborate across teams, bring autonomy stacks to life on embedded Linux platforms, and own end-to-end integration, troubleshooting, and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, CS, or related engineering, plus 3+ years hands-on robotics experience.
• Proficiency in modern C++ with Docker, Linux, and common tooling like Git/GitLab/VS Code.
• Hands-on integration of robotics with autopilots (Pixhawk family) and standard buses/protocols.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and field autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems on real platforms.
• Bridge hardware and software, perform SIL/HIL evaluations and live testing.
• Collaborate with defense and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and support customer demos.
