Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer (Drone Stack Team) to architect and field advanced autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems that bridge hardware and software. You will bring autonomy stacks to life on real vehicle platforms, standing up integrations, running SIL and HIL evaluations, and supporting live testing in the field.

You will partner across the company to ship dependable, scalable capabilities to both defense and commercial customers, owning end-to-end hardware-software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Robotics, CS, or related engineering discipline with hands-on robotics experience

Responsibilities

• Architect and field autonomy systems, bridging hardware and software for vehicle platforms
• Integrate autonomy stacks with onboard sensors and data capture
• Perform SIL/HIL evaluations and support live flight testing for UAVs across Group 1–5
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure dependable, scalable capabilities
• Collaborate with DoD warfighter domain experts and UAS vendors for deployments
