Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer (Drone Stack Team) to architect and field advanced autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems. You will bring autonomy stacks to life on real vehicle platforms, stand up integrations, and support live in-field testing with a customer-first approach.

You will work across DoD and commercial customers, collaborating with autonomy engineers to integrate software with aircraft autopilots, sensors, and ground control stations. Travel 10–20% and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics/CS with 3+ years hands-on robotics experience.
• Proficiency in modern C++, Docker, Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) and Git tools.
• Hands-on integration with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4).
• Experience with SIL/HIL, real-time, edge computing.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% and U.S. citizenship with security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Architect and field autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems on real platforms.
• Integrate hardware and software across DoD and commercial customers.
• Perform SIL/HIL bring-up, testing, and live flight demos.
• Troubleshoot integration problems to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and DoD warfighter domain experts.
