Performance Food Group seeks a Delivery Driver Trainer to educate and mentor drivers on all job duties, safety practices, and DOT compliance. You will use training guides, observe performance, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires classroom and field instruction for new hires and existing drivers, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to use computer systems and software.
• Extensive knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety policies.
• Experience training drivers and providing actionable feedback to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Train and re-train delivery drivers on job duties using company guides and checklists.
• Provide verbal and written feedback to driver trainees and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regs, safety policies, and route delivery guidelines.
• Lead classroom and field training with new and experienced drivers.
• Contribute to local training programs and support fleet operations.
