Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a trainer for delivery drivers to ensure DOT compliance, safety and effective job performance. You will deliver hands-on training, use company manuals, and provide actionable feedback to new hires and drivers in both classroom and field settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, observing trainee performance, and supporting route delivery operations while aligning with company policies. A background in foodservice distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL A license required with DOT Health Card.
• Experience with DOT regulations and driver safety policies preferred.
• Familiarity with fleet operations systems (e.g., PeopleNet).

Responsibilities

• Train delivery drivers on job duties, policies and safety standards.
• Provide feedback on trainee performance and development actions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Assist with route delivery duties and safety inspections as required.
