Job summary

Wal-Mart Transportation in Illinois is seeking a Driver Trainer/Program Facilitator to lead and evolve driver trainee training programs. You will develop and deliver content, guide participants, and partner with Fleet Development leadership to improve training and compliance across multiple Regional Training Centers.

The role emphasizes conducting audits, coaching, and facilitating change initiatives while aligning with Walmart's policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• CDL required (Class A) with Hazmat endorsement preferred or to be obtained within 120 days of hire.
• 3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer position in the previous 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years; no serious violations in last 3 years; no DUI/DWI in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes action plans with expert guidance to improve training and processes.
• Delivers classroom and virtual training to Driver Trainees; coordinates with Fleet Development leadership.
• Conducts One Best Way consistency tours and risk assessments in Regional Training Centers.
• Provides feedback and coaching to participants and partners with stakeholders to implement improvements.
