McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a driven Driver Trainee to begin a career in our logistics network.

You will learn essential driving duties, safety rules, and the distribution process while working toward a Class A CDL. Starting pay during training is $25.50 per hour with benefits from day one, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus holidays, vacation, and other programs to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Complete training and receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Read labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform math calculations to verify quantities.
• Communicate with customers, management, and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Learn essential functions of the Driver role and distribution process.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations.
• Inspect equipment and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Use DDH to document deliveries and temperatures.
• Assist with unloading and delivering products to customer locations.
