Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Complete training and receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Communicate with customers, management, and teammates.
• Read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip; submit DOT reports.
• Operate DDH; document deliveries and product temps; ensure secure loads.
• Train with Driver Trainer and learn driving regulations and maneuvers.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT; document delivery receipts and exceptions.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product; perform other duties.
