McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Driver Trainee to learn essential functions of the Driver role, including accurate distribution of products to multiple locations. You will gain exposure to warehouse and operational areas as part of development to a McLane Driver.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred/required.
• Be at least 21 years old and eligible under company policy.
• Complete training and receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product to customer premises.
• Document delivery receipts and product temperatures using DDH/PeopleNet.
• Inspect equipment for defects and report conditions.
• Maintain driver logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Participate in training with Driver Trainer and learn routes.
