The program emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service. Trainees will train with a Driver Trainer, gain DOT knowledge, and progress through hands-on experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product.
• Communicate with customers, management, and other teammates.
• Safely drive a tractor‑trailer and operate related equipment.
• This role requires basic literacy for work instructions and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect tractor‑trailer equipment for defects and report via DOT forms.
• Document deliveries using the Driver Delivery Handheld and log temperatures.
• Ride with Driver Trainer to learn driving skills and regulatory practices.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations.
• Assist the Driver in unloading and delivering products to customer premises.
• Provide on-time, undamaged product delivery and handle customer credits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
