McLane Company, Inc. in Ridgefield, WA seeks a Driver Trainee to learn essential driving operations, safety protocols, and delivery procedures while gaining exposure to warehouse functions. You will train under a Driver Trainer and progressively assume responsibilities to support on-time product distribution to customer locations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Willingness to complete training and obtain Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for task execution and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect equipment and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Document deliveries and product temperatures using the DDH.
• Assist in unloading and delivering to customer premises.
