McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Trainee Component Driver in Ridgefield, WA. You will learn essential distribution functions while gaining exposure to warehouse operations as you progress toward becoming a licensed McLane Driver.

The role includes hands-on training, regional routes, and day-one benefits. Pay starts during training with a clear path to higher earnings after completion, plus comprehensive health and retirement offerings.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend labels, instructions and bills of lading.
• Ability to communicate with customers, management and teammates.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English effectively for safety and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver tractor-trailer and attach trailer.
• Operate truck in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect equipment for defects and document DOT inspections.
• Use DDH to document deliveries and temperatures; ensure product security.
• Train with Driver Trainer to learn regulatory requirements and driving skills.
• Maintain driver logs and assist in unloading and delivering products.
