Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year in operations experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Safety, labor relations, and CBA experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with the driver workforce, interviewing and managing drivers.
• Ensures all personnel have been trained and/or retrained according to procedures.
• Follows up with new drivers on performance.
• Manages driver dispatch and route coverage.
• Ensures drivers report to work on time and in uniform.
• Provides ongoing feedback using DriveCam reporting and customer feedback.
• Investigates and acts on driver safety and operational feedback.
• Plans future books offs and run changes.
• Ensures DOT and FMCSA safety compliance.
• Maintains company standards for appearance, training, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures drivers are properly credentialed to operate vehicles.
• Collaborates with HR on personnel matters and labor relations.
• Ensures grievance processes follow the CBA.
• Reviews electronic and paper DOT logs.
• Monitors on-time performance in real time.
• Manages performance and disciplinary actions per policy.
