Job summary

The Office of the Illinois Secretary of State in Cairo, IL is seeking a Drivers Facility Manager I to plan, supervise, and coordinate staff providing Driver Services. This role oversees money handling, conducts road and written examinations, and ensures compliance with policy while delivering courteous public service.

The position requires a high school diploma and about three years of general work experience, preferably with driver’s facility exposure.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and 3 years general work experience, preferably in a driver’s facility.
Requires thorough knowledge of the Illinois Vehicle Code as it relates to driving privileges.
Requires ability to plan, supervise and evaluate driver’s facility staff.
Requires valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Plans, supervises, coordinates and evaluates staff involved in Driver Services activities at a facility.
Maintains responsibility for accounting, auditing and depositing all monies collected.
Administers road examinations and written drivers examinations; performs cashier functions.
Prepares and submits reports relating to facility operations on a regular basis.
Attends meetings and ensures facility maintenance and general appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
