Job summary

Ilisagvik College seeks a DMV/DE Coordinator to manage Driver's Education operations and support DMV services. You will oversee enrollment, scheduling, instructor coordination, behind-the-wheel logistics, road tests, and compliance, plus processing Alaska DMV transactions.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work with diverse communities. Associate degree or 3 years admin experience; valid Alaska driver's license; preferred Bachelor's and DMV/ Workforce

Qualifications

• Associate degree or three years of related administrative/program coordination experience.
• Understanding of Alaska DMV processes, policies, and regulations, including REAL ID requirements, license classifications, testing procedures, and documentation standards.
• Valid Alaska Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Driver's Education classes from planning through completion.
• Coordinate enrollment, registrations, waitlists, and required documentation.
• Schedule instruction, behind-the-wheel, and student driving schedules.
• Arrange DMV written knowledge tests and road test appointments.
• Coordinate DMV transactions and related program logistics.
• Maintain Driver's Education records and compliance documentation.
• Support Workforce Development programs and outreach.
