Job summary

Ilisagvik College is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator/Manager to plan and facilitate cooperative extension, cultural and community programs for youth and adults. You will work under the Director of Indigenization to support the college’s mission and engage with partners across communities.

The role requires strong collaboration, data tracking, and ability to travel. A college degree in education or related field is required, with a preferred bachelor’s degree and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in education, public administration, sociology, business or related field.
• Ability to work with Alaska Native culture and rural Alaska education processes.
• Experience in community outreach or program coordination is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cooperative relations with partners to enhance services locally and regionally.
• Manage grants to ensure directives meet regulations and budgets.
• Develop and facilitate cultural and community programs for youth and adults.
• Collect feedback and provide reports to stakeholders and audiences.
