Job summary

zTrip is seeking an energetic Recruiter to lead driver recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives, ensuring we attract and retain professional drivers who form the foundation of our success.

You will develop innovative recruiting strategies, build strong relationships with candidates and drivers, and collaborate with operations leadership to support workforce growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, transportation, driver staffing, or related field preferred.
• Experience recruiting CDL or non-CDL drivers is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Experience managing multiple openings and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified professional drivers.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, industry networks, workforce partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers to support current and future staffing needs.
• Represent the company at job fairs, recruiting events, CDL schools, workforce development programs, and community events.
• Promote the company culture, driver benefits, earning opportunities, and career growth potential.
• Partner with operations leaders to understand driver staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
• Develop relationships with local driving schools, training programs, and workforce agencies to create ongoing candidate pipelines.
