Job summary

Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT) in Laredo, TX is seeking a Driver Orientation Coordinator to manage all aspects of driver orientation at the Laredo terminal. You will work with Safety, HR, Recruiting, and Operations to ensure a seamless, compliant orientation experience for new hires, rehires, or returning drivers.

Responsibilities include scheduling, documentation, and backfilling the orientation instructor when needed, while maintaining daily rosters and metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in transportation, driver recruitment, safety, training, or operations preferred.
• Experience leading teams or coordinating processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the daily driver-orientation schedule at the Laredo terminal.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers attending orientation and guide through hiring process.
• Coordinate safety instruction, DOT requirements, drug-testing status, and record completion.
