Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Two years of human resources support experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with or ability to quickly learn HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists HR Director and management with disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Processes new hire paperwork, transfers, pay changes, and other employment matters.
• Enters new hires in the system and reports to agencies.
• Terminates employees in computer systems.
• Updates and maintains employee data in systems.
• Maintains personnel files and updates records with relevant data.
• Responds to employee questions and provides customer service.
• Assists with day-to-day HR operations.
• Collaborates with team to enhance employee engagement.
• Maintains confidentiality ofHR files and records.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and performing a variety of Human Resources functions. This position ensures effective use of plans, policies and procedures and maintains positive employee relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists Human Resources Director and Management on employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Processes required new hire paperwork, transfers, pay increases, and other employment matters.
• Enters new employee hires in the system and reports to corresponding agencies.
• Terminates employees in computer systems.
• Maintains computer systems by updating and entering data.
• Maintains and stores records of personnel files, identifies missing information, and updates files to include all relevant data.
• Responds to employee questions and provides outstanding customer service.
• Assists with day-to-day HR operations.
• Collaborates with team members to enhance employee engagement.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings

• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Two years of human resources support experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Willing and able to travel to all company locations in El Paso, TX, Santa Teresa, NM and Las Cruces, NM, as needed.
