Greyhound Lines, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee a team of drivers, ensure policy compliance, optimize routes, and support performance and safety. The role emphasizes leadership, labor relations, and problem solving in a transportation setting.

You will coach drivers, monitor DOT compliance, coordinate dispatch, and work with HR on personnel matters, with a leadership track eligible for a 10% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in operations leadership with excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to exercise diplomacy, judgment and discretion in working with the company and union officials.
• Safety and Workers Compensation, Labor relations, and CBA experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects, trains, and manages the driver workforce.
• Ensures all personnel have been trained and/or retrained according to procedures.
• Follows up with new drivers on performance at regular intervals.
• Manages driver dispatch for route personnel and coverage.
• Ensures on-time reporting to work in complete uniform.
• Provides ongoing feedback using DriveCam and customer feedback.
• Investigates and acts on safety and labor relations feedback.
• Plans future books offs and run change assignments.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Monitors adherence to company standards for appearance, training, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates with HR on personnel matters.
• Ensures proper credentialing for operating commercial vehicles.
• Monitors labor relations and grievance processes per CBA.
• Reviews electronic or paper DOT logs.
• Oversees employee performance and disciplinary actions.
