Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years in operations leadership.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
• Diplomacy and discretion with union officials.
• Safety, Workers Compensation, Labor relations, and CBA experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Windows and email.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects, trains, and manages the driver workforce.
• Ensures all personnel trained according to procedures.
• Provides regular performance follow-up and feedback to drivers.
• Manages driver dispatch and route coverage needs.
• Ensures drivers report on time, in uniform, ready to work.
• Develops employees using DriveCam reports and customer feedback.
• Investigates safety concerns and driver practices.
• Plans future books offs and run change assignments.
• Ensures DOT and FMCSA compliance and safety standards.
• Maintains company standards for appearance, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures drivers are properly credentialed for commercial operation.
• Collaborates with HR on personnel matters and labor relations.
• Monitors labor relations and grievance handling per CBA.
• Reviews DOT logs (electronic or paper).
• Monitors real-time on-time performance.
• Manages performance and disciplinary actions including termination when needed.
