Job summary

Day & Ross is hiring a Driver Manager in Trexlertown, PA to lead driver performance and fleet operations. You will ensure on-time delivery and profitability while fostering safe driving practices and strong driver relationships.

Responsibilities include load planning, coaching on time management and ELD/HOS compliance, and maintaining TMS records. Travel may be required; leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; logistics experience preferred.
• Transportation knowledge and experience required.
• Experience supervising frontline employees and remote teams.
• TMS software expertise preferred; familiarity with PeopleNet/Qualcomm.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Multitask effectively to support drivers and operations.
• Build relationships and address performance issues to ensure driver success.
• Provide load information, routing, and directions for drivers.
• Coach drivers on time management and hours of service compliance.
• Monitor ELD systems and DOT compliance.
• Maintain records in the TMS system for drivers, trips, and customers.
• Tele-market to develop new business opportunities for Day & Ross.
• Cultivate existing brokerage customers for growth.
