Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC is seeking a Driver Manager/Dispatcher to optimize driver operations and safety. You will build professional driver relations, coordinate loads, and communicate with customers to sustain high service levels. 5+ years of dispatch experience and DOT/OSHA familiarity are required.

Proficiency with TMW and PeopleNet, plus MS Word/Excel/Outlook, will help you manage schedules, hours, and delivery receipts for a wide range of loads across our network.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in dispatch/logistics.
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with TMW and PeopleNet systems; able to use MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage drivers, schedules and loads safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs to ensure efficient driver operations and safety compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers and customers.
• Communicate timely with customers to ensure service levels.
• Maximize driver availability and equipment utilization for revenue.
• Review dispatch sheets, load orders and prepare delivery receipts.
• Enter load information into TMW; generate and share delivery details.
• Address driver and customer concerns; enforce safety policies.
• Monitor Hours of Service and update records; report to management.
