Job summary

Quality Carriers, Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Driver Operations Specialist to coordinate day-to-day driver activities, dispatch, load planning and customer service for up to 30 drivers.

The role requires a 24/7 on-call schedule and strong communication and leadership abilities. You will ensure DOT compliance, safety procedures, and accurate data entry in TMW, ISAAC tablets and TotalMail while maximizing driver earnings and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• 4+ years truck transportation industry experience or 4-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with DOT Requirements, CSA expectations and Safety procedures.
• Highly proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching, load planning and customer service for a group of drivers.
• Maintain a driver calendar and manage time-off requests.
• Ensure safety compliance and address issues with drivers.
• Review driver performance and provide feedback to maximize bonus earnings.
• Coordinate driver utilization with scheduling and equipment planning.
• Communicate service issues and ensure on-time deliveries.
