Job summary

Shelton Trucking LLC in Texas is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee daily driver activities within our fleet. Ideal candidates will manage communication of ETAs, utilize dispatch software to assign work, and ensure compliance with trucking regulations.

This full-time role requires a degree or relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Candidates should be detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Health benefits are available for full-time staff, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in dispatch or fleet management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is favorable.
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Utilize McLeod to assign work to drivers.
• Direct daily activities of drivers.
• Guide drivers to comply with regulations.
• Ensure drivers are safe and productive.
• Counsel drivers on over the road issues.
• Assist drivers with maintaining important documents.
