Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking an Orientation Specialist to support Driver Experience, Driver Development, Driver Qualification, and HR teams across multiple terminals. You will manage orientation documentation for Safety and HR and help streamline the onboarding process.

The role requires high school or GED, strong organization and communication skills, familiarity with DOT requirements and paperless systems, and the ability to assist with on-site and remote onboarding tasks.

Qualifications

• DOT knowledge of driver requirements preferred
• Good organization and communication skills required
• Knowledge of Excel, Paperless System, and AS 400 preferred
• Ability to scan and use copy machine preferred

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process drivers attending orientation and ensure DOT compliance per policy
• Verify and clip documents to driver files and manage orientation paperwork
• Assist on-site Medical, PST, and EFA technicians and coordinate information to drivers
• Support onboarding compliance and review tax forms, W-4, HR audits, and I-9
• Travel to other terminals as needed to cover personnel shortages
• Provide support for driver onboarding during non-traditional hours
