Job summary

Temco Logistics LLC, a proud subsidiary of The Home Depot, seeks a Driver Manager to oversee final mile operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service in a white-glove delivery environment for appliance installation.

You will monitor on-road performance, coach drivers, align routing with DOT rules, prepare manifests, and support payroll and scheduling. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and maintaining Temco’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in home appliance installation or mechanical aptitude to learn installation process.
• Solid knowledge of routing, scheduling, DOT compliance, and safety standards.
• Proven hands-on leadership and ability to cover in absences or peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-road operations and support drivers with calls and issue resolution.
• Prepare manifests, review routing for optimization and DOT compliance.
• Train and onboard new customer service staff.
• Build schedules and ensure hours adherence.
• Review payroll accuracy and coordinate route adjustments.
• Lead daily driver readiness and performance coaching.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Oversee 3PL inbound/outbound processes.
• Investigate freight and claims.
• Foster professional, customer-focused culture.
