Temco Logistics, a proud subsidy of The Home Depot, is seeking a Driver Manager to lead on‑road operations, coaching drivers, and ensuring safety and service excellence in final mile delivery for Home Appliance installations. You will monitor routes, optimize scheduling, oversee DOT compliance, and collaborate with the MDO team to maintain high standards and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Home appliance installation experience or mechanical aptitude to learn installation processes.
• Knowledge of routing, scheduling, DOT and safety compliance in transportation operations.
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership and ability to fill in during absences or peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-road operations and assist drivers with calls, exceptions, and issue resolution.
• Prepare manifests, review routing for optimization and DOT compliance, coordinate with MDO team.
• Train and onboard new customer service staff.
• Build office and driver schedules and ensure hours adherence.
• Review payroll accuracy and partner with Driver Managers on route adjustments.
• Manage check-in compliance and daily exception processing (MARS, reschedules, cancellations).
• Order office supplies and maintain proper staging of product and paperwork.
• Support inbound/outbound processes in 3PL locations.
• Investigate freight and Sedgewick claims.
• Assess waste/recycling operations and recommend improvements.
• Lead and support drivers daily to ensure readiness and success.
• Monitor performance metrics and coach for improvement.
• Oversee DOT compliance and safety standards for drivers and equipment.
• Conduct on-road observations and Safe Work Habits Assessments.
• Partner with operations to optimize routes and maintain fairness.
• Drive a culture of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
