Job summary

Temco Logistics, a proud subsidy of The Home Depot, seeks a Driver Manager to join our team and drive excellence in final mile operations for Home Appliance Installation. You will coach drivers, ensure DOT safety standards, and coordinate routing and payroll processes.

The role emphasizes on-road leadership, proactive problem solving, and seamless collaboration with the MDO team to uphold exceptional customer service and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on ability to learn home appliance installation processes.
• Strong knowledge of routing, scheduling, DOT and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to lead by example and cover shifts during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-road operations and assist drivers with calls, exceptions and issue resolution.
• Review routing for optimization and DOT compliance; coordinate changes with MDO team.
• Train and onboard new customer service staff.
• Build office and driver schedules and ensure adherence to hours.
• Review payroll accuracy and partner with Driver Managers on route adjustments.
• Manage check-in compliance and daily exception processing.
• Order office supplies and maintain proper staging of product and paperwork.
• Support inbound/outbound processes in 3PL locations.
• Investigate freight and Sedgewick claims.
• Assess waste/recycling operations and recommend improvements.
• Lead and support drivers daily to ensure readiness and success.
• Monitor performance metrics and coach for improvement.
• Oversee DOT compliance and safety standards for drivers and equipment.
• Conduct on-road observations and Safe Work Habits Assessments.
• Partner with operations to optimize routes and maintain fairness.
• Drive a culture of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
