Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts CDL with passenger endorsement and air brake endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time operator experience.
• Knowledge of project-specific vehicles, components, and data/communications systems.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and corporate safety programs.
• Strong customer service orientation and English proficiency.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; effective interdepartmental communication.
• Ability to work independently and remain objective; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field supervision of driver groups to assess performance and competence.
• Manage absenteeism and address unplanned issues with drivers.
• Provide coaching or disciplinary action for performance issues.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and retain qualified drivers to meet contract goals.
• Collaborate with management to ensure service meets contract and local plan.
• Oversee vehicle operators on the street and approve duty readiness.
