UNAVAILABLE is seeking a CDL Lead Driver to oversee a group of drivers, ensuring routes are serviced on time and safety standards are met. This training-focused, non-routed role supports the company’s career paths program to help drivers advance within their careers.

The position involves coaching, inspections, and collaboration with dispatch to maximize efficiency, with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18, hold a valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, be legally eligible to work in the United States and have OSHA 10 or 30 card.
• Minimum 1 year of clean CDL driving experience and ability to work well in a team are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a group of drivers daily to ensure routes are serviced in a timely manner and assist in reroutes for efficiency.
• Educate and train new drivers on pre/post trip inspections and safety reporting.
• Train CDL drivers to operate trucks safely along routes to disposal sites and follow route sheets.
• Complete training documentation and daily operation paperwork for new drivers.
• Coordinate retraining with operations within 72 hours.
• Provide courteous, timely service and maintain positive relationships with customers and management.
