Job summary

Keolis North America Inc. in Reno, NV seeks a Driver Manager to lead a group of 30–50 drivers, drive safety and performance, and oversee daily transit operations with a focus on service reliability.

You will apply supervisory experience, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and develop your team through coaching, training, and performance evaluations; a Class B CDL with P endorsement is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Management of frontline employees with accountability for safety and performance.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and experience.
• Theories, principles, and practices of transit operations.
• Driver scheduling practices.
• Applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations regarding transit operations.
• Vehicle operations and safety.
• Principles of training and development.
• Must currently hold or obtain a Class B Commercial Drivers License with P endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for driver group safety performance.
• Ensure safety policies are applied and adhered to.
• Maintain safety governance in the group and continuously improve safety culture.
• Create and maintain a just culture where all employees are treated fairly and understand their contribution to safety culture.

• Identify opportunities for driver retraining and act on them.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be customer-focused with the ability to inspire your team with commitment and enthusiasm.
• Exercise good judgment and creativity in decision-making.
• Interact professionally with all levels of KTA employees, client representatives, and community members.
