Job summary

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and present information in public forums and employee training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the largest exam station in the state.
• Direct the work of at least 10 employees; interview and select staff; provide training; address disciplinary issues; complete performance evaluations.
• Handle public contact, address customer complaints and conduct driver re-evaluation examinations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations/training in public forums and employee training.
• Occasional overnight travel within the state and travel to out-of-state conferences.
