The State of South Dakota Department of Public Safety, Driver Licensing Program, seeks a Sioux Falls One Stop Supervisor. The Department of Public Safety, Driver Licensing Program, is looking for a professional, adaptable, customer service-oriented individual to fill our Sioux Falls One Stop Supervisor position. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position that oversees the largest exam station in the state. This includes directing the work of at least 10 employees, interviewing and selecting staff, providing training, addressing disciplinary issues, and completing performance evaluations.
This position has substantial contact with the public, addresses customer complaints and conducts driver re-evaluation examinations on drivers who may no longer be safe to drive. Preparation and delivery of presentations/training in public forums and employee training will be required. There will be occasional overnight travel within the state and travel to out-of-state conferences. Candidates should have previous leadership or supervisory experience, good planning and organization skills, and work well as part of a team.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
