The Greenville, SC DMV is seeking a License Examiner II to support a fast-paced public service environment. You will administer road tests for several vehicle classes and determine applicant fitness and knowledge of driving laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant experience.
• Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license and be at least 21 years of age with one year driving experience.
• Must complete a nationwide criminal background check and CDL-related trainer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers road test examinations for multiple vehicle classes.
• Evaluates applicants' fitness and knowledge of laws and safety procedures.
• Processes driver licenses, permits, registrations and titles; handles documentation edits.
• Responds to customer inquiries by phone and in person.
• Greets customers and directs them to the appropriate area.
• Maintains fees, daily reports and transactions; performs routine branch tasks.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance and supports branch operations.
